My work carries expression of freedom and exhilaration. Sometimes paint is allowed to drop down the canvas on a pattern
of many colors. Fragmentary particles of images of the world challenged by mood or total absence of it. A horizon, with
questions, in the hope to make contact. I create volume in the emptiness stripped bare naked of any realism. The titles are
a reflection of the past; countries I lived and worked in. As Martha Takayama, director of the Tepper Takayama Fine Arts
Gallery in Boston said about my work:: “Lyrical swirls of his intense palette result in decorative images with a French
influence.”
