Painting is my passion and my delight. And my art reflects my search for happiness, serenity and beauty. I strive
to convey a unique vision of very ordinary objects and experiences rather than precise representations,
occasionally with a touch of whimsy.
For me art is a matter of balance between the heart and the head: my heart wants color and light; my head
requires balance and structure. My challenge is to share with my viewers my love of pattern and design
expressed with spontaneity and glorious color.

Although her father was an artist and she was always fascinated by creativity and color, Marge took a detour before engaging in art
wholeheartedly. She acquired a Ph.D. in chemistry, taught and did research for several years. Then she succumbed to the never forgotten
allure of art and traded her lab coat for the artist’s smock. She entered the world of art with the same intensity displayed for science and
began by studying at the Art Institute of South Florida and thereafter with several nationally recognized artists.
Marge has been honored with numerous awards, including “Featured Artist” at the Arts Atlantica” in Ocean City, Maryland, and a number
of First Place and Best of Show honors. Images of her paintings together with articles highlighting her creative endeavors have appeared
in several newspapers and periodicals, including the nationally distributed Home Magazine. She is an exhibiting member of many Art
Associations and has earned signature status in the Southern Watercolor Society, The International Society of Experimental Artists and
the Florida Watercolor Society.
