John Philbin Dolan

I paint mainly people. In people there is love, hate, sadness, joy, curiosity as well as all the other
emotions. The human element is a never-ending sea of possibility. There is always a story with people. It
is easy for the viewer to become emotionally affected by a portrait or figurative painting because they
bring their own experience to the viewing. It is the same for me as artist, painting it.
