Ilze Dilane

I am a painter and work with oil and acrylic techniques. I use different surface structures with textural mass (with the
acrylic technique) and linen lacquer (with the oil technique) in order to reinforce artistic visuality in my paintings.
Additionally, I make thinner or thicker color effect and use not only brush, but roll as well. I like to experiment and try out
new painting techniques ( e.g. with painted plastic sheets to produce a unique background or I sometimes use fabric to
make different sorts of background texture). In my paintings, I try to show my positive attitude towards everything around
me. I am interested in simplicity of everyday surrounding themes (of inspiration) and I keep trying to find artistic and
positive values in these things.
