Watercolor as a medium has been fascinating to me.  There are so many ways to use the wonderful colors and I guess I
have tried all of them.  I love to paint the light and shadows, inventing shapes and reflections.  Every new painting is a
total experience. Most of my work is based on good design as a first thought, then secondly I consider values from light
to dark.  Color harmony and technique also count but most of all I must have a reason for painting a subject.  Acrylics
work the same way and I use them frequently.
