Rain is pounding on the roof of a small studio in Slagelse, Denmark. It often rains there. Inside, a lone figure stares trance-like at the
white canvas in front of him. He continues staring at the surface of the canvas until his mind starts to place an image there. Slowly,
tentatively, the artist begins to apply paint to its surface. Sven Frøkjær-Jensen has begun another day of creating art. He's been
making art for a long time. It is colorful, at times seemingly disjointed, but always chock full of rich interpretative value. Frøkjær-Jensen
has shown his work throughout Europe. He is currently preparing a gallery show in Athens Greece.
A vivid and strong fascination of the Cobra movement originally got him interested in art. Further studies of Byzantine painting and the
art of the native people of Bali and Australia helped him find his creative voice.
