Carl Clark has a decades-long history as a registered architect,
having studied at Drexel University in Philadelphia. His paintings are
flavored with strong architectural elements. They are reflections and
impressions of places he's experienced. The original concepts are
reduced to essential elements which convey a sense of place and time.
The images are represented in strong composition and abstraction of
color selected to express the feelings evoked at that time and place.

Clark's style varies from the abstract to the realistic and covers a wide
range of subject matter. He admits that the "influence of my
architectural background is always present. The acrylic medium allows
for a more fanciful interpretations of the subject matter. One of the
great joys of painting is to have my work  evoke some emotion, a
memory of time , a place or a celebration of color."

His studio is in Naples, Florida. His works are collected because of their
uniqueness, color, and, of course, the omnipresent precise
architectural renderings.
