The U.S. Green Buildings Council
has awarded PAAM a Silver LEED
(leadership in energy and
environmental design) rating- the
first art museum in America to be
certified as green by the USGBC.
In addition to her position as
Executive Director, Christine
McCarthy is a lecturer on the
visual arts at Boston University
Metropolitan College.
She received her B.A. from
Providence College, Rhode Island
and her M.A. from Syracuse
University, New York, followed by
post graduate studies at Harvard
University.
Michele L. Bechtell, Director,
Madison Museum of Fine
Art; Madison, Georgia.
Hailed as a cultural gem in the
Southeastern U.S., the art
museum collects, preserves,
interprets, and exhibits original
works by historically significant
visual art masters including
Picasso, Calder, Cezanne, Dali,
Whistler, and contemporary living
artists.
In addition to her position as
Museum Director, Michele
Bechtell appraises and brokers
art for individuals and institutions
around the world. She also
provides art expert witness
testimony in art related cases
Ms Bechtell received her B.A.
from Bowdoin College and her
M.S. from Cornell University. She
has published widely on the
subjects of quality control and
fine art.
Dennis Harper, Curator of
Collections and Exhibitions,
Jule Collins Smith Museum of
Fine Art; Auburn University,
Alabama
A visual artist, his work in egg
tempera has been widely shown
at galleries in New York City and
the Southern U.S. He has taught
and lectured at the university level,
including the University of
Georgia, Lamar Dodd School of
Art, where he instructed in
Painting, Drawing and
Printmaking.
Mr Harper received his BA from
the University of Alabama in
Birmingham and his MFA from
the University of Georgia.

An emerging force in contemporary
realist painting, Jackson ’s work
has been shown in many national
and international juried exhibitions
and is part of the permanent
collections of museums in
Evansville and Fort Wayne ,
Indiana , and has been featured in
a number of premiere magazines,
including, Art in America,
Southwest Art, and a cover story in
American Artist. Jackson has
received numerous awards for his
paintings, including an
international juried fellowship from
the Elizabeth Greenshields
Foundation in Canada .
He received his BFA from the
Columbus College of Art & Design
in Columbus , Ohio and his MFA
from Bowling Green State
University in Bowling Green , Ohio .
